All About the W's

Weekend Wrap Up, Weekly Wisdom, & Giveaway Winner

This might have been the biggest weekend of my life. On Friday night, my niece, Skylar Anne, was born. She's perfect and my everything. I can't wait to watch her grow up. It was a very emotional, amazing day. It was a two day long labor, but because she was so big (9 and a half pounds) they ended up doing a C-section.
On Saturday, I graduated college! Although I finished school in December, CLU doesn't have a winter ceremony, so I got to walk yesterday with all my friends. It was a wonderful moment and I'm tearing up just writing this. There were so many times I wanted to give up and so many times I didn't see a point in finishing school, but I did it. It took so much hard work, time, effort, and money, but an education is something that no one can ever take away from me. I had a nice day with my friends and family and am so proud of everyone that walked yesterday. Thank you to everyone who guided and encouraged me along the way the past 3 1/2 years. I'm forever grateful.
I wish all my friends lots of love and luck in the coming weeks and months. It's a very difficult transition--one I never thought I would get through. I'll revisit this trying time on my blog later in the week. To all the recent graduates: you will get through this. There will be a lot of tears, a lot of stress, a lot of uncertainty, and a lot of hopeless days...but never lose faith. It might take awhile but you will eventually get through the hard times and they will make you a much stronger, prouder person. If anyone needs any computer hugs at this time, I got you.
Breathe...
