MEDITATION


May is National Meditation Month. Meditation can be performed in many different ways and is something that I believe all people should implement into their daily routine. Meditation increases gray matter in the brain which allows individuals to think more clearly and have an increased capacity for compassion.

There are many benefits to meditation. It can reduce headaches, anxiety, and stress. Meditation can also improve the immune system and create an increased level of energy, which is restored from within. Meditation increases happiness, creativity, and clarity. It helps people to problem solve more effectively.

Meditation can be done with music or just by simply closing your eyes and breathing. For me, I often meditate in prayer and through scripture from The Bible.

In celebration of National Meditation Month, I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and explore a powerful way to improve your mental capacity.
