The new season of The Bachelorette premieres tomorrow. I like Rachel as The Bachelorette. I feel like she really has her ish together...besides the fact that she is looking for love on television.
After viewing the bios on ABC's website for the 31 (yup, 31!) guys vying for more Instagram followers, I have never been less enthused about a season. The guys on JoJo's season were easy to watch and at least they had substance and careers other than modeling and fitness training. If people did not realize what a joke this show is already, the bios of these guys should put you over the edge.
Bryce, 30, Firefighter: says in his bio that his dream job is to become a professional Instagrammer. As long as he makes it halfway through the season I imagine he will have his choice between Diff Eyewear and Hello Fresh to make that dream a reality.
Milton, 31, Hotel Recreational Supervisor, also has some genuine intentions for coming on The Bachelorette. His goal this season is to be "discovered. Everyone tells me I am made for TV and movies."
Dean, 26, Startup Recruiter: says "marriage is an institutionalized sham derived from religious beliefs." Yet he is here with hopes of getting engaged by the end of six weeks?
DeMario, 30, Executive Recruiter: says that he loves attention! "Not like '07 B.Spears attention or 2011 Sheen. Natural attention like when Justin and Brit wore those incredible denim outfits."
*SPOILER ALERT: According to Reality Steve, DeMario leaves in episode two because his girlfriend arrives at the mansion and puts him on blast.* Sounds like the wrong type of attention to me!
Kyle, 26, Marketing Consultant, has an interesting opinion on gluten..."not really sure what it is or what food it lives in, but I select gluten-free menu options when I can."
Two unique jobs we see this season are Tickle Monster and Whaboom!
Many of the men mention their infatuation with Matthew McConaughey and The Rock in their bios which already leads me to some questionable thoughts about them.
Who I like: Adam, Brady, Eric, Iggy, Jack Stone, Matt
Who I think will stick around: Anthony, Bryan, Eric, Jamey, Josiah, Matt, Peter
