The #DearMe campaign has been floating around YouTube this week, with YouTubers writing letters to their former selves. What would 22 year old Cate say to 13 year old Cate? Here goes...

#DearMe,

Be strong. Be you. When you learn not to care what anyone else thinks, that's when you'll learn who you really are. It's no one else's life. You call the shots. Those mean kids in middle and high school mean nothing now. Don't bully because you were bullied. Be kind. Stay true to your wants, needs, and passions. Work harder in school. Don't lose trust in God. His plan is so far greater than yours. Spend more time with your grandparents. Don't worry about impressing boys. Focus on your health. Follow your arrow...you would NOT believe what an independent, strong willed, motivated bad as you are in the future. But most importantly, just listen to your heart, it will get you to where you are today. Even though it may not always feel like it, you are blessed beyond all belief.
