Healing & Humility

Our power lies in realization. We can not allow ourselves to be defined by our mistakes. There is not shame in suffering. We can not heal on our own. We can only heal by humbling ourselves before the Lord.



If we want to be healed, we have to be real with ourselves. We have to stop putting the blame in our life on others and look at the internal locus instead of the external. We must admit that we do stupid things. We must put God in control. We must admit that we are powerless over our past, powerless to control others, and powerless to cope with our harmful habits, behaviors, and actions.



When we humble ourselves before the Lord, there is no question about who our God is. Even when we do stupid things and are in desperate need of healing, God offers his grace to each of us.
