Beauty Con has come and gone. What an awesome day it was and how glad I was to spend the day with so many of you. It was so fun to meet you and a big shout out to sweet Jada! The highlight of the day was spending time with Kandee Johnson. Kandee was the first YouTuber I ever watched. She has inspired me in so many ways and will continue to change my life for the better. I admire her for sharing her struggles, dreams, hopes, and fears with her viewers. She has gone through some very difficult times in her life, yet never lost sight of God's plan for her life.
When I first got to Beauty Con, I was invited by a swarm of balloons. I walked around to all the vendors and hung out with P'Trique at the Maker Studios platform. I was gifted more product than I ever can use (prepare for a giveaway) and met amazing people. Then I got to meet Kandee and go to a panel she sat on. The panel was called, "How Do You Wear Your Inner Beauty?" It was hosted by Emily Greener of I Am That Girl, and featured Kandee Johnson, Evelina, Jenn Im, Shameless Maya, Alexa Losey, Mindy from Cute Girls Hairstyles, Teni Panosian, MakeupByMandy24, and Brittany Mota-Wiley. After that I met some of you awesome lovelies! It reminded me of why I continue to do this blog. The rest of the day was pretty low key. I met some really great people, gave out lots of hugs, and left feeling overwhelmingly blessed.
